We're obviously biased. But we've also been part of the Eagle Rock food scene for over fifteen years, and we genuinely believe this neighborhood has some of the best casual dining in all of Los Angeles. Here's our honest take on what to eat when you're in Eagle Rock — starting with us, but not ending there.
Four Café (That's Us)
We're at 2122 Colorado Blvd and we've been here since 2010. Lunch at Four Café is fresh, seasonal, and built around produce that was sourced within the past few days. The menu changes four times a year but we always have our most-loved dishes running alongside whatever's seasonal.
If you're coming in for the first time, we'd say: order the grain bowl, get the avocado toast if it's on the menu, and definitely try whatever the seasonal special is. We put real thought into those dishes and they're often the thing people end up coming back for.
We're open noon to 8pm every day. Order online for pickup or come in and eat at the counter.
The Eagle Rock Food Scene
Colorado Blvd is genuinely one of the best restaurant streets in LA right now. The neighborhood has a strong independent food culture — not a lot of chains, a lot of people who actually care about what they're serving.
Eagle Rock has historically been where chefs come to open their first place, or where people who've worked in bigger restaurants go when they want to do something more personal. That energy is still very much here. New places open regularly and the quality tends to be high.
Worth the Drive from NELA and Beyond
If you're coming from Highland Park, Glendale, Pasadena, or even further — Eagle Rock is worth making a destination. Parking is easier than it looks, the neighborhood is walkable, and you can put together a genuinely great afternoon around food and coffee here.
We'd love to be your first stop. Come find us at 2122 Colorado Blvd — open every day noon to 8pm.
